Even complex details are sealed securely, seamlessly and seamlessly by hand in advance, and later seamlessly integrated into the flat roof sealing with liquid plastic

Flat roof waterproofing with liquid plastic and fleece without tearing off

In our construction site video we show the processing of flat roof waterproofing with liquid plastic and fleece.

After the surface has been thoroughly cleaned, plenty of liquid plastic is applied and a technical reinforcing fleece is incorporated.

The liquid plastic bonds permanently to the surface.

A later infiltration of moisture is impossible, even if damaged.

It is then coated with liquid plastic until the fleece is completely saturated.

The fleece is brushed with a soft broom to avoid bubbles and wrinkles.

After everything has dried thoroughly, another layer of liquid plastic is applied.

This means that flat roof sealing with liquid plastic creates a homogeneous and closed surface in which all structures (fan, chimney, skylight, wall connection, parapet, etc.) and penetrations (gully drain, etc.) are permanently and securely integrated.

No matter how big the roof is

Flat roof sealing with liquid plastic

When we talk about flat roof sealing or flat roof renovation with liquid plastic, we of course always mean liquid plastic with reinforcing fleece (full reinforcement). In this process of flat roof renovation, a system fleece is inserted into the still liquid plastic and then coated until it is completely saturated. The individual strips overlap at least 5 cm. This creates a film on the roof without joints or seams, which, with careful preparatory work = roof cleaning, is firmly connected to the subsurface everywhere as a flat roof seal.

The process of flat roof renovation with liquid plastic is particularly popular in industry. The cost-effective alternative to most conventional flat roof sealing methods is characterized by a long service life.

The latest generation of liquid plastics have an expected minimum service life of 25 years.

Particularly in the case of roof breakthroughs such as skylights, RWAs, fans, air conditioning units and roof drains, the connecting seal is very easy due to the system.

The liquid plastic adheres very well to most surfaces and the fleece adapts to every detail. An infiltration of moisture is impossible.

When renovating flat roofs with liquid plastic, no weld seams or other connecting bridges are created, so these weak points are eliminated from the outset, which offers the flat roof sealing additional security and longevity, even in otherwise critical areas.

Conventional materials such as bitumen membrane (roofing felt), roofing foil, etc. tend to become brittle and cracked over time, especially at seams and joints, as well as in transition and connection areas. If the flat roof has heated up significantly on hot summer days and a sudden rain shower causes rapid cooling, strong thermal stresses arise due to the high temperature fluctuations of up to 70ºC in the flat roof sealing, which can lead to cracks in conventional materials, especially if they have already aged and are brittle due to weather. Added to this are the temperature fluctuations of the daily day-night cycle.

Flat roof renovation with liquid plastic is UV-resistant, solvent plasticizer-free, breathable, and remains permanently elastic at temperatures from -30ºC to 130ºC.

In addition to its main use in industry, this method of flat roof renovation has also proven itself very well on small roofs.

Regardless of whether it is a bungalow or block of flats or a garage or even just a canopy, the economical long-term solution here is liquid plastic with full reinforcement.
